A lot of the energy from your heating source just disappears into the chamber walls. It&amp;rsquo;s a waste of electricity and, more importantly, a waste of your time.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we use gold.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;the-deal-with-gold-coatings&#34;&gt;The deal with gold coatings&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;Most people start with aluminum reflectors, but here&amp;rsquo;s the problem: aluminum just absorbs too much infrared energy. Gold is different. It’s incredibly efficient at bouncing IR rays right back where they belong.&#xA;When we put a high-density IR lamp inside a gold-lined cavity, the reflector basically forces the energy toward your target. You get a tighter, more intense beam. The best part? You get way more heat on the wafer without having to crank up the power supply or stress your electrical system.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
