Zoned infrared (IR) lamp arrays.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;How zoning actually works&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Think of it as breaking your curing tunnel into a few different chapters.&#xA;First, you set the entry zones to a lower temp. This lets the solvents &amp;ldquo;flash off&amp;rdquo; gently. If you blast them with heat immediately, you get bubbles. Not a good look.&#xA;Then, the middle zones do the heavy lifting, hitting that peak curing temperature. Finally, the last zones handle the cooling ramp so the parts don&amp;rsquo;t shock.&#xA;The best part is that you can tweak the power for each zone based on what you&amp;rsquo;re actually running. Thin-wall extrusions fly through. Heavy-duty profiles? They need a bit more soak time to get the job done.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The nitty-gritty on heat density&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We stick with short-wave IR lamps for these lines. Why? Because they don&amp;rsquo;t just sit on the surface; they penetrate the coating and hit the aluminum substrate directly. It basically heats the part from the inside out.&#xA;But here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: your wattage has to match your line speed. If you speed up the belt, you need more juice per lamp to keep the energy transfer consistent.&#xA;Just be careful. If you push max wattage in a tight space and your reflectors are dusty or crooked, you&amp;rsquo;re asking for a burnout. Keep those reflectors polished.
