This thing runs at 400V and cranks out 2500W from a 300mm tube. That wasn’t a random choice. Running at 400V drops the current for the same wattage, so you can use thinner wiring and keep losses low. Then there’s the watt-per-inch ratio—packing 2500W into just 300mm gives you heat that’s focused, fierce, and ready for fast-cycle industrial work.
Material and Design: The Details That Hold Up
The heating element sits inside a halogen-filled quartz tube. That setup keeps things stable, prevents hot spots, and helps the lamp last. Quartz also handles rapid on/off cycling without cracking under thermal shock. And the connector? It’s an R7s base—direct, drop-in compatible with standard industrial fittings. So wiring it up and servicing it on the shop floor is straightforward.
