Because the seals are so tight to keep water out, the wiring doesn’t get as much natural airflow. You’ll need to make sure your cabinet ventilation is dialed in. They get dimmer and less efficient. Usually, you’d have to recalibrate your whole line to make up for those aging lamps. With this setup? You just drop in a new module. The footprint is the same.
